If you want to suss the club out, hang around for a bit and read through the posts first, get to know the names and see how the style sits with you before jumping in feet first.
As a wise person once said, think of any online community as a pub full of regulars who are chatting about various subjects, not necessarily all ones you are interested in. The regulars all know each other to some degree, but that doesn't mean that they're not interested in what you have to say. Just try not to run into the pub and shout the house down on your first attempt. |
