| I think it's common to all brand dealers - Ducati are the same. Head bearings for the SS frame? £30-odd quid each. Cross reference the bearing part numbers and buy them as a Fiat wheel bearing for less than £20 the pair. And don't get me started on BMW prices!
However, some stuff is cheap. When we bought the BMW one of the plastic covers that goes over the top of the seatbelt feeder next to the door was missing. I went to the dealer and it was 35p and they had them in stock. I was obviously gutted when I found it wedged in the seat rail about 18 months later whilst hoovering the car, but at least it wasn't too bad! |
