| You should seriously consider a triple. My Sprint RS has loads of stomp from 3k onwards. It's got grunt, roll-on acceleration in abundance (it is devastatingly quick in top-gear overtakes) and can rev when you want it to, although the red line is surprisingly low and the limiter cuts in at 10500.
As a road engine the 955i is hard to beat and I've never found it wanting in any aspect. It's also amazingly economical - with the latest tune & a Triumph performance pipe it will return 60+mpg at about 80-85mph. |
