I had my final service, before the two-year warranty period was up, done at a Ducati dealer. Some stuff was done under warranty even though it had more than 6,000 miles on it.
My theory is that if you take it to a non-Ducati dealer and you find a problem with something, they aren't going to help you much, if at all.
If you do take it to a Ducati dealer and they find something, you're then in a position to start negotiating about replacement under warranty.
That's my thoughts, anyway.
