| I can recommend coming via Chelmsford if you want to come cross country.
Drop off the M11 at Stansted then try to pickup the A1060 (via Takeley) from Hatfield Heath all the way into Chelmsford - lovely road!
Out of Chelmsford you can take the B1007 and then A176 onto the A127.
This will cut the corner off the M11 > M25 > A127 route.
