I have worked out the gearing charts-I know, I know, I'm a sad case-anyway the gears are all the same as existing Monster/Multistrada/ST4S with the exception of 6th-which is higher than the Monster/Multistrada, and lower than the ST4S. Since I have been informed-indirectly-by Domenicali himself that the engine with it's new tune will pull happily from 2000rpm in 6th-'like an electric motor' I don't think we have much to worry about. The gearing works out that the bike will do 154 at peak power in 6th and 167 at 10,000 rpm. Personally I don't have any doubt that with 150bhp available it will manage to hit at least 154-if not more.
