| Ditch the closing cable as it's really not needed - those springs will have your fingers off anyway!
You can then go to a single cable throttle, and use a 916 sized one (62º iirc) or get the one from Red Racing Parts (356203) which is actually the same as the 916 one but is branded Domino instead of being OEM
The standard SS one is 90º so it's a twist and a half to get full throttle! Once I'd swapped over I always found the throttle much easier to use.
