DD 583 rear bolt torque

What are the two rear spindle nuts torqued to, the 22mm ones? Been tightening them to a 'couple of big heaves', but would like to get it right, I have scoured the tinterweb and found the 900SS should be between 52 - 59 nm.

Not got my manual at home but tight as works for me :)

70 to 76 Nm for the 17mm axle.

I thought you had Matt Trayners old 600SS, which standard would have a Steel Swing arm and a spindle with a single nut.
If you have two nuts on the spindle then its either a 900SS spindle or a 600 Monster spindle, chances are if its the 900 Spindle then you probably have a Alloy swingarm

Yes it is Matt's old bike, it also has an alloy swinging arm with two 22mm nuts so my guess is it must be a 900ss one then? i will stick to two heaves, and a grunt.
