With the ignition off, hold down the left button on the dash whilst turning the ignition on. Keep a hold of the button for a few seconds then realease. The error code screen should appear with a code displayed as to why the EOBD light is lit. There's a list of the error codes somewhere on the board to check against. |
cheers nelly, im getting codes 10.2 horizontal coil short to eath,12.2 injector 1 short to eath and 13.2 injector 2 short to earth. going to have a look now with a 7 lb hammer. |

sorry Loz, thats an eror code tw8t:1! it means youve dropped the bike again!:lol: |
You haven't washed it recently have you? Mine gave the same symptoms recently and gave at least one of those fault codes. I had to have it recovered to the dealers. It turned out to be the fuel pump relay which is situated behind the battery, right where the front wheel can chuck up water etc. at it. Chris |
Yeh from those error codes it looks like pump relay |
I've had that go on me, apparently the connections on the relay were corroded. |
