What length chain did you need (to retain standard wheelbase) when going up three teeth on the rear?

A 98 link? (up two from standard)?

Thinking of going 15/39 myself when chain needs...

Does anyone know whether 'Ducati Red' paint can be bought from Ducati or any other paint supplier? Is there a specific colour reference number?

The 999 gear lever does have a lot of travel. I missed the odd up shift early on, so adjusted the lever down by about 10mm to enable a more positive action. Haven't missed any changes since.

What is the procedure for fuel tank removal (to get at the throttle bodies)? Looks like the seat unit and tank are connected and both need removing. Maybe I can just prop the tank...

Had exactly the same thing happen on my bog stock 999 mono at Bruntingthorpe a couple of weeks ago - speedo climbed to 174 then went blank but for three horizontal bars.

This blanking of the speedo...
