I would say the 996 engine is the better engine...

I would say the 996 engine is the better engine too, the new 998/999 Testastrata engine is the result of ever tightning EU emissions laws.

The 996 engine has a longer stroke and IMHO, it sounds...

We are lucky in the fact that Big twins "thump" rather then "scream" (like the IL4s) and it`s not as offensive to the ear.

Just look at the Harley boys, some of the screaming eagle pipes are...

Suspension set up

Is there anywhere on-line to get a good set up guide?

Ie: tips for weight of rider, Fast road/track use etc.

you know the sort of thing, if you`re 15 stone, using it on Track, 5clicks here, 4 turns...

If they dont have any markings, the only way they can test them them in with a decible kit and coppers never carry them.

Interesting.

How easy is it to change the cam belts yourself, I do a bit of spannering, nothing too heavy (no engine rebuilds here my friend ) but with a bit of nowledge, is it an easy`ish job?
