Aprilla Ohlins forks - ? fit ducati?

looking at options on a decent set of forks for my track bike (998s),

was wondering if the ohlins forks from an aprilla rsvr will fit the ones im looking at are 46mm and have radial brake fitment.

i guess the forks will probably fit ok in the bottom yoke but are they also the same size at the top yoke as ducati forks.

and Qeston 2 is what will be the best callipers to fit to these forks,

just kinda wondering if they are basically the same as the 999 and singing and dancing forks?

i know the mudguard lugs are differant but is there anything else

no you would need a larger bottom yoke.
and the spindle fitment is different on the Aprilla
I have a set of Ducati forks with yoke available.
On flea bay at the mo.
with regard to callipers, Radial yes but you can only use the funny Ducati specific Items.

that's the major problem
I did look at Aprilla forks before I got my first set of ohlins.
nothing is impossible but the cost will mount up

yeah thoughts are make a spindle or go with a aprillia front wheel and brakes, but there no simple solution.

i have a pair of ohlins forks similar to yours keefer, but had chance of getting some cheap aprilia ones with the radial, gona have to get them revalved in any case wither that or get some that are done ready like the wsb ones i was looking at

I have just changed to the road and track items.
I love the 748R ones just don't like the 65 mount.
much the same as the radial Ducati specific items.
I know what you mean about the Aprilla ones being a bit cheaper though
but would you really want a OZ front wheel ?
