New 1000ss model

Been upto Ducati Coventry today had a look round a new 1000ss, some proper nice trick bits on them which have been updated from the 900ssie, Rear Sets, Heel Guards, Seat, Mirrors, Swing-Arm and best of all White Faced Marelli Clocks, with dig display. If anyone can find out if the clocks can fit in the 900ss let me know...

Cheers
Steve

I got the 800ss cos it came with all the above trick bits, you gotta love that fat swingarm, much better than the old steel one.

1000DS vs 900

I've got a 2002 900SS - so it has the wheels, swing arm, ohlins etc. but the old clocks, engine, etc.

Has anyone ridden both bikes? Is the new engine significantly better than the old 900 unit?

What do people think?

Chris
