Dont start, perhaps I'll try those ferracci riser bars and have the seat softened up a bit.

Cant imagine the 'from solid' but hey ho lets find out.
£4 postage is also very cheap.
Watch this space

If when you get it, the surface of the metal looks porous rather than a smooth machined metal surface then it could be a cut Die Cast one, as the metal surface is not fine.
This is why you also see cheap ones on the market they are powder coated to hide the porous surface.
Would still be interested in you posting you findings when it arrives in the post.

I rather like the solid original ones, well I do now since the clutch got totally fangoolered when I dismounted from the bike while it was still going quite quickly while fitted with a carbon cover !

Try looking mpl-tuningparts from Germany who sell ally bits on ebay at a fraction of their web prices.
Their type two covers can be had for as little as £53 +£8p&p
They are quality billet parts. Superb delivery aswell

I've bought stuff from MPL in the past and would normally recommend them, but to be honest I wasn't that impressed with the clutch cover I got from them.

In my opinion it's way too thin and I certainly wouldn't trust it to stand up to any sort of accident. It's about half the thickness of an old Tecmoto billet one I have and I've found myself swapping the Tecmoto over to whichever bike I decide to take on trackdays, just in case...

I think they must've beefed it up nowadays, as they are quite substantial.

got a deal with the guy and have bought the pressure plate as well.
£76 inc postage.(both items)
Was thinking of a red cover with blue plate. not sure what colour to go with on the spring caps?
Think this combo will work well on my black S multi.
Should match the blue bits on the ohlins.
What do you reckon?
