| XB12R to 749S 'Ello everybody eyam virry virry appy to be ere and thees ees mya firsta post on the Ducati Sporting Club (ahem) Contrary to what you may have heard  , I run a Buell XB12R Firebolt on the road and I'm seriously considering swapping it for a new 749S.The Buell is a great bike and as you will know it handles superbly on the corners and has great drive off the throttle. Its simple design makes it a breeze to maintain but it is, however a little primitive and suffers somewhat from a lack of absolute rpm. Has anyone made the swap from Buell to Ducati (or vice-versa) ? I'd like to get your opinions.  |
