A Taste of Italy - an intimate Sunday lunch with Ducati legend Paul Smart! Sunday 10th June // Covent Garden, London The Ducati Sporting Club UK is proud to present “A Taste of Italy”, a very special lunch event at Carluccioʼs restaurant in Covent Garden, London, on Sunday 10th June 2018.
We have worked with the head chef of the Carluccio's chain to create this very special Taste of Italy, a four course meal offering you the best regional dishes from around Italy.
We are also delighted to have a very special guest of honour dining with us, Ducati legend Paul Smart! Places will be very limited and only available to fully paid Club members plus one guest. We are expecting to sell out very quickly so be sure to book your places quickly.

Antipasti A selection of the best from the regions of Italy, served on a wooden board to share.
Primo Prawns marinara – Prawns, white wine, baby plum tomatoes, chilli, fennel seeds, tomato & basil sauce, grilled ciabatta.
Antonio’s chicken liver pate – Smooth pate, red onion marmalade, grilled ciabatta.
Calamari fritti – Squid rings in light batter, lemon mayonnaise.
Crab bruschetta - White Devon crab, frisée lettuce, tomato, courgette, lemon dressing, grilled ciabatta.
Tomato bruschetta – Yellow cherry, baby plum and beef tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, baby basil, garlic, grilled ciabatta.
Insalate caprese - Buffalo mozzarella, beef tomatoes, basil, extra virgin olive oil, black olives.
Secundo Chicken saltimbocca – Chicken escalope, 14 month aged prosciutto, sage, white wine sauce, roasted potatoes, pesto and rocket.
Crab & langoustine tagliolini – White Devon crab, langoustine tails, courgette, white wine, chilli oil, lemon, spring onion, garlic & herb breadcrumbs, fresh egg tagliolini ribbons.
Risotto funghi - Porcini, chestnut, oyster, shiitaki, shimenji, baby king oyster & closed cup mushrooms, garlic.
Swordfish Muddica – Swordfish, herb & parmesan breadcrumbs, courgette, green beans, rocket, Parmigiano Reggiano
Penne Giadiniera – Courgette, spinach balls, chilli, garlic, cheese, giant Pugliese penne.
Dolci Tiramisu – Savoiardi biscuits soaked in strong espresso coffee and coffee liqueur with mascarpone and chocolate.
Chocolate caprese – Chocolate & almond cake, vanilla ice cream.
Meringue - Meringue with a passion fruit cream, fresh raspberries and a raspberry coulis.
Panna Cota - Delicious vanilla panna cotta, served with raspberry coulis.
Gelato - Our own authentic "Gelati Artigianali" are made traditionally, have intense flavours and are served with a crispy Carluccio's wafer. Arabica Coffee and Hazelnut / Bitter Chocolate / Vanilla / Strawberry / Cherry.
