brembo or marchesini?
i recently got a 2002 998bp and was wondering why my wheels say brembo on the inside of the spokes??? they have marchesini stickers on the rim

Hi Joe,
I believe the wheels were 1st made by marchesini but could not keep up with the "supply and demand" so the got brembo to help.
Could be wrong....often am but this time I think thats about it.

Brembo now own (maybe always did???) Marchesini, along with AP Racing and some other tasty companies. Lucky Mr Bombassei....

would my wheels be any different to wheels on the more expensive models like the R etc

nope. The 749R/999r use forged marchi's but the 998 uses the same 5 spokes as yours
