The 4 star Hotel Marina Playa stands by the sea a short distance away from the golf course of Marina Golf in Almeria.
The Marina Playa Hotel offers to its guests a total of 334 large and cozy rooms with balcony where guests can enjoy the most beautiful views. All rooms are completely equipped with all the necessary extras guests might expect from a hotel of this category which includes amenities such as full equipped bathroom with hairdryer, mini bar, direct private phone, safety deposit box (charged separately), air conditioning, heating, satellite television, etc. At this moment, the hotel does not allow extra beds.
The Hotel Marina Playa features a buffet style restaurant where delighful meals are served. The restaraurant's high standards of quality products and the preparartion of the meals are supervises by Chef Jean Marc Sanz. The hotel's guests can also enjoy a refreshing drink at the Tropical bar or at the Refreshment stand located by the pool and on the beach respectively. There is also an Irish pub and a snack bar available.
Among the hotel's installations, guests can enjoy a swim at the establishment's salted swimming pools. Furthermore, a complete fitness centre is also available for guests to get fitted which includes a gymnasium, muscle training, sauna, whirlpool baths and steam bath.
Marina Playa's quite a nice hotel, its actually in Mojaca Playa which is about 20-30 miles up the road from Almeria town itself. Its six of one and half a dozen of the other which one is closer to the track, and I would say Mojaca Playas a nicer place to stay. Its definitely a nicer hotel than anything I've stayed in Almeria Town itself. If the suns shining, theres a really nice terrace around the pool (which will be frickin freezing in April). Plus its got an Irish Bar for that genuine Mediterranean experience
I really fancy Jerez again, hopefully all intact this time. Trying to find some weatehr stats for the end of Jan to see if the No Limits trip is worth looking at. I may struggle with work is my only concern.
