Termi fitting

Just bought a new 50mm Termi System with Air Filter and CPU thingy. I can probably fit everything myself but was just wandering why it needs any setting up at a specialist? I thought its a bolt on goodie and no need to eff around??

You need to get the CO2 trim pots set up properly. That's why you'll need to go to the dealer.

I think if you bolt on the pipework, you could then get the ECU, filters and CO2 done by the dealer for a low cost? They need to remove the tank (I think) to do the CO2, so they might as well fit the ECU and filters.

Cheers buddy, if you fit everything without the CO2 setup will it work okay?

It will work, but you won't get any benefit from having fitted the system. It might run lean/rich or just rough.I fitted mine just before my service so that it could be sorted out then.Give a dealer/specialist a ring and ask how much to fit or just setup after you've fitted it.
