We'd welcome the support - nice one, especially for the 8 of us in the Sound of Thunder on our underpowered steeds

Does anyone know what the situation/cost re: car-parking is? My bike's being collected for transportation to Jerez on Saturday night, so its either car or push-bike for me

Actually, I wouldn't be too sure about that Dickie.
I went to Brands for Bemsee on Saturday (in the car) and for the first time ever, was asked to pay £2 extra to take the car inside. I paid it grudgingly (given that I should have had competitor tickets but my sister hadn't arrived at the circuit with them by then and wasn't answering her mobile so I had to pay to get in as well) and was then told I had to park round on the south bank as I wasn't a competitor. After some 'debate' I parked where I normally do. Sister then arrived and she too had to pay £2 even though she had competitor tickets. It did appear that no-one knew what was going on and as far as I can work out they weren't charging on Sunday (although we came on the bike) so you MAY have to pay to take the car in - and if you do just ignore the staff and drive where you want, they're not going to jump in front of the car to stop you!
Alternatively you can leave the car in the car parks on the right before you get to the main entrance, no charge.
So all a bit uncertain.

I know its late, but are tickets only available at the gate now ?
How much were/are they in advance ?

I would like to give and show my support for the DSC and the DesmoDue race series - I do have a rechargeable and very loud AIR HORN
