Assen Update
All,

You should have received your email through from Chris Bushell regarding the final details about Assen.

I'm posting this as it wasn't very clear (to me!) and I've spoken to Chris on the phone.

Class
We are the "Sporting Club" class:
Practice: Saturday 12.30 (H) x 20 mins
Qualifying: Saturday 16.30 (R) x 20 mins
Race: Sunday 13.25 (G) x 8 laps

Numbers
We race with our own numbers and board colours, so no changes are required.

I hope this explains what I thought was a bit ambiguous! Chris will hopefully be following up with another email to clarify, but I though you might like to know in case you were wondering too!

Thanks Antony.

I also thought it was a bit confusing about access to the circuit, as it does say about access from 7am on Friday at the top, but further down it does mention something about access between 2pm - 11pm on Thursday.

Phew!!

I expect a lot gets lost in the translation, but it's fair to say that Chris is pulling several cats out of the bag at once to get this all running!

Sorry to be a little impatient, I don't have access to that e-mail account from work. Does it mention anything about timing?

Edited to add: I mean race timing, transponders etc.

It says:

Friday May 5th
Trackday
Time
07.00 Welcome Centre open open
19.00 Scrutinizing for Supermono, Sound of Thunder, including sound check
19.00 Distribution transponders at the Techno centre
21.00 End of scutinizing and transponder distribution

Don't know if that would include us?

cheers for that Antony

We seem to get all the other DD emails from Paul James, just nothing about Assen - and neither of our lads get on line regularly enough to check their mails.

They say the paddock is closed at 11pm and there is no way we'll reach the circuit before 1am. Do you think we'll be able of setting up the tent near the circuit?
