HELP PLS - Can I use front discs from a 748 etc - SORTED, THANK YOU

On my 1993 900ss???

Just seen some nice discs going on Ebay and am unsure if they will fit.

They 'look' very similar and I believe mine are 320mm in diameter but are they floating items on later bikes? does this make a difference??

Cheers - Frank

i believe the answer is 'yes', as the disks on my bike came from a 748, but please double check with a dealer/breaker first

I'm fairly certain you can Frank, went to cross check them in the EBC catalogue but it must still be around at Senna3's house.

Good Idea Kev!

Just been on the EBC website and downloaded a catalogue - 4.6Mb but nevermind its a good one.

SOme of the 748 discs are compatible but it depends on year and model

Cheers

Phew.....u had me going there !!!!

Nope there is still one day left on the auction and only two peeps appear to be bidding.

I've written to the seller and asked about year/model.

Fingers crossed.

Cheers - Frank

Just found out the Discs are from a late 2001 748, so according to the EBC catalogue they dont appear to be compatable.

Darn and Drat....

So......heres the Ebay link for them....u got 16 hrs guys..........

The ones in the picture look the same as all early 748/916BP discs as also found on the 900SS, monster etc. They look nothing like the ones off my 2000 748RS of any of the SPS ones
They are even in my neck of the woods

Oh well - I won the Ebay bid anyway - surprise, surprise !!!

£90 for a pair of good con discs seems Ok to me - I'll be over the moon if they fit.......

Just keep an eye out in the Market Place OK?

Thanx everyone - Frank
