Which 749s or 999 Got bike at last

Just thought I'd finish the saga and say thanks for all your help. Picked bike up yesterday and have done 400 miles. Already going through my favorite bends as quick as on the speed triple but not catching my boots on this.
Noe I've got her home I've spotted some winter corrosion which will clean up. I've replaced all the fasteners with Zeus stainless and given it a proper clean.
Some one warned me about getting the coils wet. where are they located?
I quite fancy getting the headlight surrounds and possibly the fork leg bottoms anodised another colour. Does any one know how you remove these.
Thanks again
G

Coils are located in the heads, they screw into the heads (look like plug caps), just spray some wurth silicon spray around them to repel moisture.

Headlight surround is a fairly big job to remove as the loom goes inside the headlight unit, fuses and air pressure sensor, the headlight unit itself splits in two, a bit like an oyster there are around a dozen bolts holding one side to the other, and several holding the lamps in place also, you need to remove clocks and take the 4 bolts off the headstock to finish the removal

The coils are built into the spark plug caps. The front cylinder coil gets all the road muck and wet thrown at it by the front wheel.Casoli do a fairing V peice that extends over the front coil.

Sorry, got 05 749s reg Oct 04. Posted on different topic.
Thanks for info on coils, I'll now get the spray out. As for headlight I suddenly like the colour as the work to remove sounds beyond my expertise.
Cheers
