I myself own 3 dukes,none are standard,none would recoupe the money spent on them but all 3 are mine,individual and go as well as they look,if not better!One i have owned for nearly 30 years,it still turns heads,wins prizes! Leave it standard but get the engine painted. You rarely see standard 916's as they always have some tacky bit added on. The more you add the more you devalue what is a classic bike
