ST2 Temperature Problems?

Normally the 'Low' would disappear after about 5 minutes. Recently this has not been happening. Even travelling for 120 miles on the motorway it still reads Low. When stuck on the M25 it did rise to 160 but after opening it up again it went back to Low.
Anyone got any ideas? It Just had a full 20K service 1k ago.

Fixed by Riverside Northampton - Temp sensor relay 2hrs plus part. Seems fine now.

I'd second that. Suggest that it has failed in the open position such that the fluid is not able to get up to temp. At least it is better than the shut position where you risk cooking the engine if you don't get it sorted quick!! I had mine fail only about 10 miles after a service. It is just one of those things!

There is another possiblity!
In general the thermostat is quite reliable.....unlike the temperature sender!
Mine did exactly this, it was the sender...there are two, one on the horizontal head which drives the LCD display, one on the vertical one which the ECU uses.

Mine is behaving strangely !

It will be reading say 171 then for one or two seconds show LO then back to 171 does this mean "something" is about to fail.............
