Real wheel rubbing

Evening all
Ive just fitted a talon rear carrier and changed the gearing to 14/38, the problem is the rear is now rubbing the rear guard 94 links in the chain the bike 996SPS
any help appreciated

Did you buy a longer chain as well? Dont know what standard gearing is on your bike but you adjust the chain tension by moving the wheel on an eccentric adjuster which will alter the effective height of the wheel and bring it closer to the hugger. You need a longer chain or a smaller tyre or rotate the adjuster through 180 degrees but this might mess up your steering as well.
