Hi guys.

Right, I'm not a superhuman cornering king, and we're not both 20 stone either (yet - but working on it )
I do find on the vfr though that fully loaded on a sweeping bend if we encounter a bump mid corner and are cracking on a bit the pegs will touch.
This is mainly due to suspension compression rather than it having bad clearance.
The lifter lever on the centre stand of the vfr will also touch down, and if its a big touch has been known to dig in and pick the bike up. Not a pleasant experience when you've got either a rock face on the outside of the bend - or worse, a sodding great drop...

Jools, I take your point about standard and raised, rather than standard or lowered. Shame the sales brochure doesn't quit get that message across.
Assuming the 04 pipes are as high as the 03 ones then that should be fine.

Bdg, thanks for the name of the company for the fenda extrenda. I'll do a search for them.

By the way, this fence is really comfy, so I think I'll stay here until the test rides.

Cheers all,
John.
