in top , feels like the wrong gear

hi,
bit unused to ducatis so i might just be reading it wrong.

in top gear does the 750 ride along happily at 50 or should i be in a lower gear ?
it just seems like its struggling and to increase speed i have to nock down a gear.

when its being thrashed its fine but when its just steady ridding it feels choked.
cheers.

It might 'shunt' a bit at 50 mph on standard gearing, hence many riders going smaller cog on the front or bigger on the back.

Try getting some miles in on the bike so you get a feel for overall performance.
