748bp stumbling at low throttle

A new day and a new problem. I've noticed that when I'm riding though traffic and have to coast with the throttle just slightly cracked the engine stumbles quite bad and it seams to be getting worst, but as soon as I open it up it pulls really strong without missing a beat. Do you think that I might have to clean the fuel filtter and balance the throttle bodies or is it a known problem with these? I have tried doing a search but could only find simerlar probs with 600 monster and the duel injecters of the 996.
As usual all help/advice greatlly received.

Throttle bodies may need balancing, had a similar problem on the 996 and got it sorted at Cornerspeed, not a massive job but you need the machine to be accurate.

They certainly "don't all do it", if that's any consolation.

I'm sure it'll be fixable.

When was you last major service - Shims etc.

Mine did something a little like this until last week when it had a full service including all the valves re shimmed, plus the front injector was slightly out and i had the clutch rebuilt.

Now it is as smooth as owt, has a nicer tone too.

Your not far from Louigi if your near Bristol.

Why not give him a call and see if he has an idea or can book it in for a look see?

And no, they definitely dont all do it

I rebuilt the engine about 200 miles ago after a cambelt snapped, so all the clearances are in tolerance but I want to do about 500 miles and then do another service to check the clearances again. I'll have a go at the throttle bodies tonight see how they are. Thanks guys.
