My player? 256Mb CoolTrax MP3 player here

Couldn't waste any money on hi-fi equipment when it all goes on the bike!

good choices on music and equipment, enjoy massive attack.
seen all the other but actually not a huge fan of massive attack overall; but unfinished sympathy is superb.

Hi Fly? Is that what you said...pardon?

After years of standing in front of Ampeg, Marshall, Trace Elliot and Eden's finest bass rigs, averaging around 400 watts, and standing to the left hand side of a loud drummer with a crash cymbal next to my right ear, I couldn't tell you hi-fi if it bit me...

But what's in the player....

For nostalgia...Led Zeppelin, The Who, Black Sabbath, Early Genesis (ie: with Peter Gabriel), Yes, Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, UK and Bruford

More recent stuff...Red Hot Chili Peppers, Feeder, Stereophonics, Nickleback, Dave Matthews Band...like a bit of Green Day as well, Most of Peter Gabriels solo stuff, Blue Aeroplanes

Got a soft spot for folky stuff so... All About Eve, Eddie Reader, Afro Celt Sound System, Davy Spillane, E2 .. and Joni Mitchell is superb for her musicianship and lyrics...especially the "Shadows and Light" live album featuring the late, great Jaco Pastorius on bass (every bass player should worship him....I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy)

Stuff that moves me...Almost anything by Sibelius, Mahler (especially the 'Ressurection' symphony), Vaughan Williams, Gorecki, love the harmonic structure of Aaron Copeland's stuff, and Samuel Barber...the famous "Adagio for strings" (can you believe he wrote something as profoundly moving as that when he was only 26?) but his symphonies, violin and piano concerto's are damn fine as well.

Currently running through some Joss Stone, Soulman albumn, JET and Muse.
But if there is one thing I will always have at my disposal is some Jamiroquai.
Hell, it got so bad at one stage my mates were calling me Jimiquai

Just wondering who's into hi fi really. But you're right it can get a bit like that - as bad as my bike's better than yours!

been listening to Powderfinger, The Breeders, The Pixies, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, Smashing Pumpkins .... and a few other similar ones ... got a fair bit of music on the computer though around 16GB.

My Hi-Fi - P4 2GHz with Creative 5300 5.1 Dolby speakers and IBM Thinkpad T40 with my Sony earphones.

The Puegeot has the 5 stack CD player it came with.
