Went to a dealership open house last week at AMS Ducati, probably one of my region's premier Ducati shops. Got to spend a good hour back in the work area picking the brain of one of the top mechanics. He showed me examples of bad rockers he had pulled and gave me lots of good info. According to him Ducati North America will cover bad rockers under a goodwill warranty type of arrangement. He said that if I were having a major service done there anyway and he discovered a flaking rocker, it would be replaced at no additional charge beyond the normal service charge. I know where I'm taking my bike for all it's services from here on out! Anyway, my point is that folks in the US might want to call around if they discover rocker problems and see if they can't get it covered for only the labor costs.
