Bradders, I don't think it's the bits or the cost of the labour that you're paying for with suspension set up, it's the know how.

After all, most of us here have bikes with fully adustable preload, compression and rebound damping. The cost to us of twiddling a few knobs and adjusters is zero, but can any of us really set up our suspension? Can we feck!

If you don't have the knobs and clicky bits to twiddle, as on the DD bikes, then you really have to know what you're doing with spring rates, oil viscosities and airgaps etc, cos you only get one shot at it.
