Hmmm... not sure about the S Type, I'm not really old enough!
Audi's are nice tho, but I'm just too impressed with the customer service I hear of Lexus and like the look of them (who says I'm image concious???)

Went to have a closer look at the IS200 at lunch... not going to buy that one. Don't like the colour much and its been reversed into something which has made many ugly cracks on the bumber, also the nearside wheels are scraped to buggery! Not in as good condition as I first thought (it was getting dark when I first saw it!).

So my conclusion...
Think I'll wait 'til the new year and go to a Lexus dealer.

Nick,

You should get a good deal from a main dealer on the old shape car, and they'll sort out wheels etc for you too. It's worht knowing that some items have a longer warranty than others too (e.g. the stereo)

For a particularly biased view, you could try

www.lexusownersclub.co.uk

Forgot to mention that earlier.

I like Audi's, and I also like the Lexus, it may be a Toyota, but what's wrong with that? The loveliest most glorified toyota I've ever seen for sure... the lovely dark blue one they do is best
