Magnesium water pump cover
I was going to fit a magnesium water pump cover to my bike (996R), for looks really.
Do they corrode as bad as people say in the coolant system?
Is there a coolant I can use that would help?

Seen some poor condition ones off race bikes, may be down to Race bikes not being allowed to run antifreeze or any other additive

That was my thinking. Putoline coolant is magnesium safe so they say.

Would always run D water anyway, Putoline NF is premixed. I always use a premix nowadays. Saves all that messing around.
