And its in my area too - I'm about 40 miles away from leeds.

I had been checking a guy out in Malton but he's so busy (good sign I guess) that he cant fit my bike in yet.

Might just drop this guy a line and see how prices compare

I only have two ebay searches running now...
One for wheels (Marchesini, marvic, dymag)

and the other for everything Ducati (minus magazines models, which I'm currently sick of looking at !!!)

As u can imagine the second search list quite a few and even having them sorted by newly listed means even an Ebay junkie like cant be bothered going through the list every day (just every OTHER day)

End of feeble excuse.

Here is a copy of the email the guy just sent.........

"Frank, With all the parts (belts,shims,filters,plugs) I think £225 should cover it. To be honest its a while since I've done a full 2 valve service, most people just want me to do the belts and shims. No problem though. If you let me do yours I promise it won't be over that (unless some none service parts are needed) and if it goes quicker than I think and few shims are needed I'll be honest and reduce the cost. I'll give you a printed out service sheet detailing all checks and parts used.
My background is that I got into Ducatis when I was chief engineer for the 5-7 Racing that raced the ex-Devimead Ducatis in the '96/'97 seasons. Since then I've got into servicing Dukes and due to redundancy am looking at setting up a business looking after them. I use all genuine parts and have technical back up form JHP Ducati Coventry. I can get you other stuff too (pads chains etc) and get it MOT'ed if you need it.
Hope this makes it worth bringing down, I'm easy to find at Rothwell which is just off the A1-M1 link road.
