Dainese sizing for women

I've been offered a Dainese cordura jacket which is a euro 44. I know that you have to knock off 10 to get the UK size with Dainese clobber, so will this fit my wife, who is a size 10 or will it be too big? Womens sizes are generally shown as 10, 12 ,14 etc . Im sure it will fit- just want to make sure

According to my Ducati clothing file (made by Dainese) size 44 is a Medium. But the Italian medium is equivalent to our Small. I take a size 12 and have to buy a size 46 which is down as Large. I am not large however, so I imagine a size 44 would fit a size 10 o.k. but I don't want to take the blame if it's wrong!
