Removing front mudguard ?

Just a quickie,

Before I go to the bother of removing my front wheel, can the 749R mudguard be removed without doing this ?

Was going to get the red/white corsa stripe painted up the centre of it leaving the sides/legs carbon, what do you reckon ?

Ian, seen quite a few bikes with the same paint scheme on the front mudgaurd, depends on your taste, but I reckon it looks sweet! Goes well if you have a front number board and the re/white single seat...both of which I think you have!

Getting the mudgaurd off? I took my wheel off, but apparently, there is a way you can twist it out of place, might be easier with your carbon one, but Id rather take the wheel off.
