For those who don't understand French, I was just saying hello from France. I could congratulate London for hosting the Games in 2012, but I prefer to tell English people that I'm so sad about what happened in their city. When I see what some human beings (maybe not so human) can do, I definitely think there is no limit to the human stupidity.
So I'm in France for a little bit more than one week, and I'm sooooooo happy because I'll bring back my 600 Monster in the UK with me
I'm fed up with the M25, and I definitely need a better way of travelling than my car.
My Monster already rode 40ooo km (24ooo miles I think) and it's now time to service it. In France, most of the Ducatis go to servicing every 10ooo km for a "little service" and every 20ooo km for a big "service". So it's "big service" time for it, and I think that what needs to be done is:
- belts changing
- engine oil / filter changing
- valve gaps checking (I think you will understand even if I must write it wrong...)
- spark plugs changing
- air filter changing
- fork oil changing
- brakes / clutch liquid changing
- carbs cleaning (it's almost 8 months the engine didn't start)
And I think I must forget some stuff... The thing is I can do all easy things, but I'll need some help for all valves, belts and fork related stuff. Could somebody give me a hand with this? I really would like to learn how to maintain my Ducatis...
Cheers,
Tonio.
