Well - How good was that :)

What a track
Hated that first left but what the heck - the rest of the track was excellent.
What a meeting - well worth the trip.
Fantastic sight all those Ducatis.
Wished i'd done the track day on the friday tho - then I wouldn't have tried to go up a service road before the last chicane
Good laughs all round, fab atmosphere, very welcoming, Hoooge crowds, can't say more than that.

I may have been 11th of 13 and spent most of it on my own, but hey who cares.

I've raced at Assen

Great big thanks to all that made it happen, not least my team, Graeme and Slob for transporting the bikes and mechanicals, Ade for flying and driving and being there, Jason and Kimmy for being there, mucking in and camera shots and Doug for bringing Dessie back safe and sound and getting a great result.

Really good photos, Lin. The track looked good empty at dusk, didn't it. Lying there in waiting for the next day's activity. You have my total respect and admiration for getting out there racing.

That green bike and sidecar combi caught my eye, too. Great to see you got a picture of it amongst all the red bikes. I was thinking, possibly a better solution to the dog/pillion problem than your suggestion of 4 bungies.

Yes the sidecar jobby - the colour reminded me of those barrels of green minty stuff you used to get in Milk Tray Might be better suited tho Ruthie as you say

Have to say the walk round was loooooooooooong ! I got lapped by a bloke on roller blades

There's one piccie in there from the back straight where there's a HOT TUB just visible in the picture I ask you - who takes a hot tub to a race meeting ?

Hot tub - what's that all about. We noticed the same stuff, Lin. If I was going out on that track, having walked it, the next stage would have to be roller blades, then a push bike, then maybe a 50 cc scooter, then maybe a 125, then maybe ... you catch my drift. Walking, for a first time out, was fast enough
