no idea about price, but you can get 'bling' ones from jhp etc

not really mu cuppa, but they can look ok on the right bike.

whhoah

shazaam goes into such detail im now confused,im not technically minded ( yet ) so im guessing i need a new cranckcase breather because im riding the engine too hard and too fast which sounds about right

should be all finished by the end of this week, will post pics then.
its not the cheep option though,
probably best to go for the hollowed out breather with reed valve in air box option.
have a look at Shaz's post again

Its not a big deal Deej...you'll find a lot of the older 748/9** models with the same thing. I notice yours still has the old type of breather (with the silver metal surround/edge). The newer types appear to be all plastic.

I think these are slightly better, and also come with some form of 'o' ring or gasket to try and avoid this small leak. You will also see a lot of bikes with silicone around this breather in a bid to stop it as it is so common.

Talk to Nelly, I'm sure he can sort you one out, and talk you through the removal/refitting.

Most of the older ones leak. They use an alloy washer as a gasket. Simple cure is to take off the breather, coat the washer in threebond, refit and tighten down. Solves the problem 9 times out of 10.

Why not just clean it by flushing it out?
