TRACK ATTACK 4 - CADWELL - THIS MONDAY - nervous about track riding but fancy a go?
This is an extract from an email hopefully to go to all members:
There will be a short session at 12.45 for novice riders new to the track who are not taking part in the trackday. The idea is that this may dispel any nerves and encourage new track riders to take part in future trackdays. The session will consist wholly of following an instructor, will be free of charge and will of course be restricted to DSC members (full or associate) only. We are not requiring the bikes to be Ducatis; if you are nervous about track riding, riding the bike on which you feel most comfortable has to be the best choice! If you know anyone who would be interested, please could you let them know about this and also let me know, preferably before the trackday but if not then at sign-on as those interested will have to sign on beforehand and attend a special briefing session.
Please note that the usual requirements apply; a valid full motorcycle licence (both bits if a new-style one) is required, together with leathers in good condition that are either one-piece or two pieces which zip together, proper motorcycle boots and gloves and a full faced ACU approved helmet.
As Bradders says great idea, I will be bringing my CBR400 along for Senna3's wife Trudi to ride, It will save her risking her own immaculate one which she got after she sold her 600SS that she didn't really get on with due to it being a bit big for her. I hope everybody that takes advantage of this oppotunity gets a nice dry track so they can enjoy the delights that Cadwell has to offer.

Good news Kev ... pleased for Trudi.
Don't forget - save me that spot - we'll get there about 9 I hope.
A marvellous idea. Its the kind of thing that got Sue on track for the first time - the Norton Owners Club ran a similar idea at CRMC meetings. She has since done a proper td at brands. Sue's next milestone will be parading my race bikes at crmc meetings If anyone wants to ask her questions, send us a message. (I do all I can to help people race or have a go on track cos I think its a really valuable learning exercise for road riding, as well as a compleeeeeeete blast)
