Ducati Pipe Mod http://www.ducatipipemod.com/
Hi,
I'm a Newbie to the site so I just wanted to say hello and ask you guys the following:
I'm thinking about doing this to my 2003 749BP :

http://www.ducatipipemod.com/

To mod my standard Ducati 749 Exhaust to increase noise level (plus a slight gain in BHP)... I was just wondering if any of you guys had heard of / used this service and if so what where the results like.
There is very good customer feedback on the website but it would be great to hear it from the horse’s mouth.

Cheers

Martin

I would have thought it would work out quite expensive sending your exhaust to the states & back to be modified.

PS. Your avatar has disappeared

Looks expensive when you include the cost of shipping, plus you'd have the bike off the road for a couple of weeks. Is it not cheaper to find a used Termi set?

Thanks guys for the info... I will call Baines Racing tomorrow to see what they say. As for a seconhand Termi for my 749 if anybody knows of one (rare than hens teeth) then please let me know I will buy it.
The place in the states will cost £425 all in and that includes a replacement exhaust and header from the guy as well and shipping which I don't think is too bad considering a Termi system will cost you £950 plus fitting @ £170.

You can get a system off Ebay quite cheap,i got a new assymetrical for my 749 for £685.I would'nt bother sending it off to the USA.Depends how desperate you are.I'd wait and see what comes up.Are you aware that you cannot use the ECU from another bike on yours?Welcome to the club, bars always open, mine's a Gin & tonic with lime. Thanks
