Donington 2nd August - Who\'s camping Monday night?

That's it... Who's gunna be camping it up on Monday night?

I'll be there about 7pm-8pm. I got Monday off, so could be earlier.

Dunno if we're allowed in, but it's a 4 hour drive and I'm not leaving home at 3am on Tuesday morning!!

I'm sure we can pitch tents/caravans just by the paddock entrance if we're not allowed in.

BBQ anyone?

We are planning to camp on Monday. I never gave it a thought that it would not be an option. Like you I have a long drive to this track so need to go up on Monday.

I've got a cheap room booked at an airport hotel.
With a spare bed if anyone's interested in sharing.

Worse than Cadwell?!! I love camping at Cadwell, lovely spot - if it doesn't rain.

Will also be camping at Donny on Mon' night. I suspect we will not be allowed inside the perimiter wall (might be wrong) in which case the only camping will be on the grass area used for car parking at race meetings - cool by me.

Will be in a white van with a mate so autograph hunters no point seeking out the distinctive horse trailer (see that tongue, that's in my cheek it is - OK).

Still no volunteers for a top curry spot near the circuit - don't let me down DSC.

...how lucky, they're right next door to each other!!

Actually, now you mention it, I'm sure I've been for a curry when I've been racing at Donny. It was back in 1999 though, so I have no idea where it was - food was good though

I rang the Donny circuit and they allow camping on the Monday night.

I'd be up for a curry I think.

Not sure if I'll still make it yet though.
