mono posto to bi-posto
What is required to put a dual seat on my 996s mono posto?
Will my subframe do, or do I have to get a bi-posto sub frame?
Thanks

Genuine monoposto subframes are generally aluminium alloy and are much lighter, but they cannot take the weight of a passenger - there's also no mounting points for the passenger footpegs either!

Picking up a cheap second-hand biposto subframe shouldn't be a problem though.

Thanks for that I'll have a look at my sub frame tonight, I don't think it's alloy.
