Silverstone GP - 08/08
Anyone doing the Silverstone GP day on the 8th August with Focused Events?

I've just booked in the Inters - first time at Silverstone though, so does anyone have any hints?
Cheers

You'll hate the chicane!

Very, very fast circuit, nice flowing corners (mostly). Get a garage at the end of the pit lane for several reasons - 1. hardly anyone goes down that far so you'll have plenty of space 2. as you're right at the end of pit lane you can join the queue first and get off your bike and sit in the shade for a few minutes.

It's a really long circuit and as such there's usually about 70 riders out in each session, so get to the front and enjoy the clear track while you can

You weren't wrong about the chicane, and the hairpin before it......YUK!!!!

These are so car orientated and I found it really hard to find any line that truly worked on the bike....

On the bright side, the section from the first corner all the way through to just beyond Bridge was fantastic, and mighty quick (140+ in places - and I'm pretty slow!!!)

Well worth a try, and I'll go again.
Cheers

Giles

Craig,

Thanks for posting those - the queue for the official photos was a nightmare (yes, I'm still sucker enough to keep buying more photos of myself on track)!!

See you at another track soon - hopefully riding next time?!
Cheers
