st seat side pod fix
the plastic seat side pods on the st's ministry of **** ( sorry doggy doo if i cant say cr@p)designs strikes again!!
were they bolt on mid point always breaks, most of the ones that come up on ebay are already broke an all. so who has come up with a clever fix as mine have been held on by cable ties for two years now (thanks jools)

Hi Glyn,
Had the same problem on mine. It seems to be a slight sagging in the seat which presses down on the top of the seat cowlings and breaks that pooh-bah stud off.
I fixed mine by gluing new rubber pads under the seat where it bears down on the frame tubes to lift it 1mm or so. That cured the problem.

Perhaps you need to lose a bit of weight mate-the pods on my ST4S are fine after nearly 8 years................

well im fat and I havent broken mine although I did change the screws to short bits of all thread loctited in and they are held on with a hx nut and flat washer.

Of course thats no help to you but if you find a good fix please post it.
