I am building a italeri Ducati Desmosedici, about half way through at the min.

I have even managed to source the malbro stickers for the side panel and nose cone to replace the blank ones that come with the kit

Thanks for the pointers guys...already got the tamiya kit,a and the SP5 (which id like !) is the one that cant be shipped to the UK. Will have a go for the 851 though so thanks for that !!

Did you use all the hundreds of paints they suggest, or just the core ones? I bought silver, bronze and 'carbon fibre'. I'm hoping that will be enough!

I've got most of the paints, some are close enough to others to not bother, but I've done a few models so they get used eventually. The carbon bits usually have a carbon decal on them.

All Tamiya - the detail is very good on all of them, but is even better on the later ones.

Got that one too walenut..muppets listing it as a 888 but its an 851 !!!

Take your pic mate..!! Protar do 1/9 race versions, bipostos, sennas (1,2 &3). Metal frames and even a metal paddock stand !
