Get a solicitor on the job. It was only way I could get the dealer to accept my rejected brand new car last year. Any decent brief specialising in consumer law will wipe the floor with them.

Best of luck.

Get a solicitor on their arse.

Forget the press - every magazine gets a dozen of these letters a week, and they're only newsworthy if the shop was successfully prosecuted, or their MoT station shut down, or similar.

Trust me on this.

Thanks for all the words of advice guys...........

Is if by magic the problem is resolved, got a phone call to come and pick my cheque up. They even gave me a wee bit extra for my troubles.

It was either me threatening to kick their heads in?????Or they received a copy of the report from the DOT this morning in the post......know which one my money is on.

Anyway, good ending to the tale as i have just been through to Duke Glasgow and bought a 749 Dark, big thanks to Martin and the crew.

Actually brightened up my day as i bumped into a few of the boys there and had the pi55 ripped out of me which kind of got it out of the way.....

Looking forward to knockers tomorrow.

Thanks again to all those who offered advice, it was greatly appreciated

Regards

ScottyB

Bike buying

Hi Scotty
Really glad you got it sorted could,ve been a real drawn out nightmare, lets hope no one else lands up with that bike.
Ive always taken someone else when veiwing bikes usually a non ducati enthusiast as thay tend to look at the bike as a bike not a piece of art, forget the nice cans etc it has,nt got an engine wake up call.
saved buying a horror story with this help.
hope you enjoy the new bike.

Place near Heathrow made the mistake of selling my old aprilia and keeping the cash after they had had it for 3 months for repairs! I don't think they're operating anymore, lets just say I reckon their insurance renewal might have increased a bit TOO much

Would have sorted it the legit way had it actually been worth it - the bike was only worth about 800 quid

And for the record I was NOT in the country at the time
