News to me, when is this supposed to be happening, after the race? I wonder who is supposed to be doing the checking?

I am already going to have to leave home at 06.00 on the 25th, I would like to get home at a reasonable time.

Chris

Parc ferme is also standard for any endurance race says AK . Often to make sure nothing has been incorrectly done during all the changes within the race, or if any objections are made

Also, its in the ACU rules too - so can be applied whenever they like

Maybe they can feel a protest coming on or maybe they think its not going to be a issue as they expect all our bikes to shake themselves to bits in a 30 minute race.
Still I'm happy to put mine in Parc Ferme to be checked for weight, cc, tyres etc.

what is parc ferme? Does it mean that they keep all bikes 30mn before the race to check we don't put some nitromethanol in the tank?

Funny thing is that we are not running an endurance race and we do not do this at New Era meetings.

If someone wants to put in a protest they pays their money and I will have to then go round and get the bike checked, as I will be on my own that day.

I'm happy for any checks whatsoever - but there's no smoking in the pit lane and i'm sure i'll be in need of a puff or 2 after 30mins around Snetterton!

That's an odd question from a Frenchman!

After the race, and it's just like an area where once you've dropped the bike off you have to leave it there to be checked over, should somebody so wish.
