Ebay help!

Can anyone help!
I won bidding on a bike and went to finalize purchase at the weekend. To say the item was not as listed is an understatement! HPI revealed a cat D write-off. The seller had no reg documents in his name and the bike looked like a lump of sh*t, none of the faults were listed on his description!
As I was on his turf with cash in my hand I asked him to get the documents sorted then we can talk, I've now mailed the seller to say that I will not be proceeding with the purchase but I need to know what to do next! Thanks!

Theres nothing you need to do mate, if the item is not as described you don't have to go through with the purchase!

Hello Animal,

I would also report this matter to ebay customer services.

And as DJ Tera says "Do nothing" move on and put it down to expierence, at least you had the good fortune not to part with your money.

regards

Thanks guys!
I'm currently going through the reporting process, I just wanted to do something before the seller left bad feedback!
Still waiting to hear from Ebay!

The situation has now bee resolved!

One point to remember to anybody using Ebay, they were very quick to get in touch with me when I refused to pay for the item, I'm still waiting to hear about my seller complaint!!!!!

I disposed of the seller!!!!
Not really, even though he deserved it!
We both agreed not to proceed with the purchase, the seller then filled out a non payment form and Ebay contacted me to confirm. We both agreed not to leave any feedback! I'm still very frustrated that I'm still waiting to hear back from Ebay concerning my complaint about the seller. As soon as the seller reported non payment Ebay were ready to send the heavy mob round!
Happy days

No feedback - thats a bit dodgy! I think you are doing you're fellow e-bayers a disservice as well. Whats to stop him from just relisting the same ad and having someone else go through exactly what you've done?

sorry, it sounds a bit harsh but you can see where I'm coming from?
